Flavor Tripping Party
Want to try something completely unique? Come out to Isaac Hunter’s on Tuesday April 20th for our Flavor Tripping Party. We’ve gotten our hands on a case of the Miracle Fruit, and we want to share the flavor-changing experience with you!
In case you haven’t heard of the Miracle Fruit, here’s a little background information:
The Miracle Fruit plant (Synsepalum dulcificum), produces berries that, when eaten, cause sour foods (such as lemons) subsequently consumed to taste sweet. Basically, you eat one berry and for the next 30 minutes to an hour you experience food in a completely new way.
At this ‘flavor-tripping’ party, we will provide an array of different foods for you to experiment with. After eating a berry, eating foods like grapefruit, cheese, and dark chocolate will taste surprisingly different. Isaac Hunter’s Tavern will be providing a special drink menu as well, providing recommendations for cocktails to accommodate your ‘tripping’ taste buds.
Come by in person at 6pm on Tuesday, April 20th and bring $10 to cover the price of the food and the berry and prepare yourself for an experience like no other!
